Christian advice can only be pure when it is based on what God has to say through His Bible verses. Remember the counselors of Job. They were sincere... but sincerely wrong. That's why I've always said- faith comes by hearing.- but always be careful what you here.
Proverbs 11:14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established.
Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Biblical advice should be centered around love always.
"Agape" Love, which is arguably the most important concept in the New Testament. Jesus followers would be known by their agape love not their theology when giving advice.
It is also not so much what you say at times but how you say it. Listening can be far more powerful than even speaking at all. You know Jesus will listen forever to someones problems but just remember there comes a time when "they" must listen and act out what they received!
When it comes from the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father it is by the Spirit of His Word's and not in the letter of the law that is sound advice. He of coarse has our best interest at heart.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
