If you remember Johnny Appleseed then you can see how this relates to the Bible.
It was all about seed time and harvest which is what God, His Word and His Children should be all about. The mustard seed faith!
Johnny new it. So should we. Do you remember the story?
It's Biblical if you think about it.Even though it's a folk lore of a real person it still applies in theory.
Paul planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.1Corinthians 3:6
This is very important especially when it comes to preachers and teachers who profess the Bible verses.
Simply stop trying and be still and know that He is GodPsalms 46:10 by just teaching verse by verse and stop telling stories, reciting poems and struggling with what to preach about. Just plant the seed!
Give God something to work with.
And by the way Mr. Appleseed was also a missionary for the Church of the New Jerusalem, or Swedenborgian Church, so named because it teaches the theological doctrines contained in the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg.

Where are to be seed planters spiritual speaking. Like Johnny was. We cannot get anyone saved just like he couldn't make the apple trees grow so stop trying. All we can do is plant the seed and water it with love.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;Psalms 1:3a
