After Salvation... Then What?

After salvation then what... is the question. I know this is on the heart of many. The heart of Jesus as well! I too had this question. So just so you know it is a wonderful journey! But...don't waste time wondering.

"Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is." Ephesians 5:17

Dear Reliable Bible Verse Believer,

If after salvation the "what to do" plagues you...hold on! It's an awesome journey and you'll never say on your death bed ..."what if!

Sometimes, believers wring their hands and worry about whether or not they're living according to God's will. They say, "I certainly can't expect God to do something for me that's outside His will." And they're absolutely right.

The blessing and the assurance of salvation that Jesus paid for is this...

You don't need to waste time standing around looking puzzled saying "now that I'm saved what do i do"? What you need to do is grab your Bible and all Biblical salvation tracts (I know you have some) and find out what the will of God is. For You...this is personal Oh... (a personal relationship with Jesus?) Hmmm.

God has made some very specific promises in His Word and it is His will to fulfill every one of them in your life. In fact, those promises are divinely guaranteed by a contract that's been signed in the blood of Jesus. No question! So after salvation then what?

Think of it this way. Your Bible is the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. It is a record of your inheritance. Everything that belongs to you has been written down in that book and the smartest thing you can do is to find out what is in it.

Don't leave it lying on the coffee table! You're searching for the truth. Well after a person experiences being saved the "then what" is the journey. It's an awesome journey!

The Question

Should I pick up my Bible from the coffee table and find out what belongs to me! YES!

Find out what you need to change to get in line with God's will. Some people don't do that. They try to change God instead. They'll go on and on trying to convince God just how badly they hurt. They'll beg and plead and wheedle, all the while acting as though they had to somehow change God's mind about the situation. Those folks are in for a long wait. God is never going to change. The Bible says He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. His will is too.

So don't waste your time wondering if your prayers are in line with it. Get the Book and base your prayers on it. Then you can rest assured the answer is on the way!

So after salvation then what?... You know.

...Is Christ in You?

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

I was praying, believing and confessing 1 John 4:4, Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Greater is He.... Greater is He.... Suddenly, revelation knowledge welled up in me and I knew, Oh! God is in me!

It hit me like somebody walked up and slapped me with a wet rag. It just shook me awake.I know what to do now that I'm saved. I started to stomp grandly about. All of a sudden, I was the dwelling place of the Most High God! That changed my thinking about so many things. I looked at my hands and it hit me. His fingers are in my fingers! I looked at my legs. His legs are in my legs. His feet are in my feet! If I walk into danger, He walks into danger.

Now, when I hear people say, their prayers aren't getting any higher than the ceiling or after salvation then what do I do?

Remember this

He's inside you! The Author of your prayers, the Author of your faith, Jesus of Nazareth has taken residency inside you.Hallelujah!

After Salvation Then What

Some people think you don't get filled with the Spirit until you receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. But that's not so. The Holy Spirit came into you when you made Jesus of Nazareth not just your savior ...but Lord of your life. He came into you when you were born again. Getting baptized in the Holy Spirit is another thing. It's when the power of the Holy Ghost comes upon you to empower you for service (Acts 1:8).

That means even if you've just been born again two seconds, Jesus of Nazareth by the power of the Holy Spirit is in you!

So if your thinking...after salvation then what? I don't have a stock answer but just simply trust that He is the Great Shepherd and will lead you beside still waters. He is there, and He will be always. Can you fathom that? If you'll spend some time thinking about it and meditating on it, you can receive revelation of it. It will start growing in your spirit and eventually change your whole life. As God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2 Cor. 6:16

Jesus of Nazareth by the Holy Spirit is in you. That's the most glorious truth in the Word of God. Let that truth come alive in you today. The Keyword is..."Let"
