Redeem The Time

Redeem the time and restore the years the locust have eaten.

In other words let the the Lord teach us to number our days.

On average we have about 75 seasons.

75 Winters, 75 Springs, 75 Summers, 75 Autumns.

Doesn't seem very long but the good news is we can pray and believe the Lord will teach us to number our days.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil Ephesians 5:16

Things You'll Need:

First you have to understand that redeeming the time means to make the best use of the time that God gives you on this earth. Allow me to share with you the top three things that we can do to redeem the time with an open heart.

Step 1

Unload everything and everybody that is holding you down. Hebrews 12: 1-2. Since we have such a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily beset us, let us run with perseverance the race set before, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

It is important that you unload all the unnecessary things in your life.

* Arguments with insignificant people *Worrying about things that you cannot change *Filling the voids in your life with things that will never bring you joy.

You have to also unload unhealthy habits that will prevent you from running your race:

* smoking which leads to cancer *drinking which can lead to drunk driving and abuse * promiscuity which can lead to disease and ultimately death * illegal activity which can lead to jail and prison time

Please do not waste your time in life on things that are meant to steal your time. You can redeem the time by unloading all of the time consuming enemy's of your life. Redeem the time.

Step 2

You have to make a commitment to love your family. I understand that no one really has the choice of what kind of family that you have. We all have family members that are difficult to deal with. We all have family members that we may not be fond of, but God tells us in John 15:12, love one another as I have loved you.

Love is really a decision and not a feeling. The love that I am referring to is unconditional love. You do not want to wait until a love one dies and try to express love at their funeral or on their death bed. Use your time wisely now and love your family members regardless of who they are. Simply call your brother, sister, aunt, mother, father on a regular basis and express your love for them while you have the time.

Step 3

Examine your relationship with God. Are you in relationship with Him or not? Have you believed upon his son, Jesus. If you spend your time on earth without him, then your time in eternity will be without him. Make a decision to accept Jesus as your savior while you have the time. Redeem the time because the world is getting worse and worse. Time is running out and the Lord is soon to return.

If you can't get your head around this... maybe your heads in the way.
